Day 1 The Century. Our
ride starts at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in
Downtown Las Vegas and immediately takes cyclist south down the famous Las
Vegas Strip and past the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Don’t forget to
stop for a photo opportunity! Once past this highly entertaining portion of
the ride, the route really gets moving heading west towards Spring Valley and
then going north making its way to Hwy 159. Up until this point the route has
been at a gradual incline but it’s here where the real challenge begins.
The route climbs up Hwy 159 and into Red Rock Canyon National Conservation
Area. As cyclist ride up the most challenging portion of the route, a 1000 ft
climb in 5 miles (miles 36-41), they will enjoy the views of the structural
details of the massive sandstone cliffs found within the park. Mile 41
marks the high point of the Century Ride and from here transitions into a
downhill grade until the end. Following the Red Rock Canyon loop, the route
backtracks down Hwy 159 and then makes its way north through Summerlin and heads
east towards North Las Vegas. The route finishes heading back west towards
Downtown Las Vegas and ends back at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for
Brain Health.

The
65 Miler (Metric Century). The 65 mile route offers the
same challenges as the Century, but with 35 less miles. This route duplicates
the Century ride into Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Once cyclists
complete the Red Rock Canyon loop they backtrack down Hwy 159 to find their
final rest stop before heading back towards the finish festival. Cyclists break
off from the Century riders to take a straight shot, nice and smooth downhill
ride back on Alta Dr. all the way to then end at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo
Center for Brain Health.

Day 2 The 50 Miler. After
taking on a challenging, scenic and fun ride on the first day, cyclists have
earned a less challenging, but not entirely easy, ride on the second day. The
second day’s route starts by going straight up Boulder Hwy to escape the hustle
and bustle of the city. Cyclists will make their way northeast toward and
around beautiful Lake Las Vegas enjoying a panoramic view of the Las Vegas
Strip. They will then head back toward the city with a rest stop at Sam Boyd
Stadium, home of University of Las Vegas Rebels! The last stop for the day will
be back at the finish festival to celebrate their weekend’s accomplishment.
